 Feral cats for bait?
« Thread Started on Oct 16, 2009, 7:07am »

I am seeing more and more of these wild cats in our forests. They rape the small game animals beyond belief. They are as bad as raptors not being kept in check for population size.
Last year I caught 4 of them in my 2 dozen sets I had out.
These are away from any homes and are very vicious when approach them. How would they work for yote bait? Bobcats work for yote baits and was just wondering about feral cats. How do you think they would work? I am serious about this. They are a nuisance to our small game populations here in my area.
If you think they will work fine, I will put my cage trap out and make me some cat bait.

A lot of the "Old Timer" recipes called for rotted down house cat, cat brains, etc. So I do know that they would work. Just unsure of the legality of it.
